Superman in 1978:Destruction of Krypton.

I first watched Superman in 1978 at the cinema, and it still remains one of my favourite films. It had everything, ranging from drama, action and a great sense of humour.

My favourite sequence was the beginning, with the destruction of Krypton. It was so well done, that it has remained with me to this day.

Mind you, there was no music when we see the late Susannah York talk to the also late Marlon Brando.

There's also a couple of extra scenes included, which weren't there when I watched it.

It's still a brilliant sequence though, and I don't think nothing will ever beat it.

I had hoped for something good in Man of Steel, but although I really enjoyed that film,I felt a little disappointed they didn't do much in their own destruction of Krypton sequence.

Still,I can always enjoy this scene.
