The Wolf Warriors films.
I've only seen the first two films,and have heard the third is in the making.
Both are great action films,and the fight sequences are very well worked out.The films star is Wu Jing as the commander of an elite Chinese military unit,who battle the bad guys.
Sadly,there's no damsels in distress in the first offering,but the second gives us a bit more hope,as the very beautiful actress:Celina Jade of Arrow fame is in it.Her character doesn't get bound and gagged,although she's held hostage by the baddies.
More importantly,I think the Chinese actress from Expendables 2:Yu Nan is in it.
Although of course,I'm not really sure if it is her,but at the end of the second film,our hero gets a video call on his mobile from his boss,and tells him who's been kidnapped.I think it's Yu Nan,who plays a highly capable military officer,who's good at tactics and computer warfare.She's held at knifepoint,so it remains to be seen if the third film can offer anything,and I sincerely hope the lovely Celina gets a scene too.
